Get ready. Get matched. Get the work.
You can do the work — but breaking into a big company's supply chain is its own challenge. Meko helps you understand exactly what's required, fix what's holding you back, and get in front of corporates as a supplier they want to keep.
Corporates have an obligation — and a budget — to develop black-owned small businesses and bring them into their supply chains. That's a real opportunity for you. But corporate procurement comes with requirements that can feel like a closed door: compliance documents, financial track record, systems, pricing structures, and proof you can deliver at scale.
Meko works the other side of that door. We're engaged to prepare suppliers properly — so when you're put forward, you're genuinely ready, and the corporate sees a business worth investing in, not a risk.
From "not quite ready" to "in the supply chain."
An honest readiness check
We assess where your business stands against what corporates actually require — and tell you plainly what's strong and what needs work. No jargon, no judgement.
We help you close the gaps
B-BBEE affidavits and compliance, financials, company documents, systems, pricing, capability — we do the heavy lifting with you so the gaps that block you actually get fixed.
We match you to real opportunities
Because we work for the corporates too, we put prepared suppliers in front of supply chains where they genuinely fit — not as a tick-box, but as a business that can win the work.
We help you keep and grow it
Getting in is the start. We support you to deliver, meet expectations, and turn one contract into a lasting relationship that grows your business.

What suppliers usually ask.
Does it cost me anything?
Meko is most often engaged and funded by the corporate running the ESD programme — the development support is the whole point of ESD. The best first step is simply to talk to us about your business so we can explain how it would work in your specific case.
Do I have to be perfect already?
No. The entire point is development. We expect gaps — that's what we're here to help close. What matters is that you can do the underlying work and you're willing to get ready.
Do I qualify?
ESD beneficiaries are generally black-owned small businesses — typically at least 51% black-owned, with turnover under the EME or QSE thresholds. If you're not sure where you fall, tell us and we'll help you work it out.
Will this actually lead to work, or just training?
Our model is built around matching you into real supply chains, not just running a course. Preparation and capability-building are the means; a genuine commercial relationship is the goal.
